Life operates in principles. These principles are universal and applicable to animate and inanimate objects. For example, the first law of motion is a simple principle of cause and effect. We act on anything that needs a change of status; or else nothing will change. As simple as this principle is, the lack of this knowledge will keep people in the same spot for many years. We wait for a change to happen without understanding that we are responsible for initiating the change we need by acting. Nothing moves in this life until we move it! Nothing changes until we change it!

God made a move by speaking when He wanted to create the heavens and earth. He put his voice into motion. We need to understand that nothing will happen if we don’t make it happen. This does not mean that we have all the power to change everything; it means that our desires to see a change depends on our action.

The world is truly in chaos. This is different from what God saw when the earth was without form and void before creating light according to the Bible. The dilemma we have now is not the absence of form or shape on earth but the proliferation of falsehood due to the lack of true knowledge.

What we are experiencing now is what is called gross darkness. Why is this so and what is responsible for it? The reason is simply because of the perversion of the truth by humanity and the absolute lack of true knowledge. Nothing compares to the confusion experienced by people regarding life. People can easily explain how nature works with concrete evidence, but then they find it extremely challenging to figure out the rules that can turn lives around. Is life really that difficult?

Sometimes, I just pray for the knowledge to create solutions to any circumstance or barrier in life. Some of the things we struggle with require a simple solution. But how is it possible for us to navigate and find our way in the darkness? What are the chances of a blind man successfully crossing a four-lane highway without a guide? Especially, when there are cars going at 80 – 100 mph on each of the lanes? That sounds like a suicide mission. It is unfortunate that we actually live our lives like that. We attempt to cross the lanes of life with our eyes blindfolded and without a guide. And we therefore make ourselves a casualty of our ignorance.

The knowledge of truth is the key to life. Truth is wisdom! Truth is Power!

We are God’s people. He loves us so much, but He can’t stop people from perishing when they lack the knowledge of the truth (Hosea 4.6). When we understand the truth that backs life’s realities, our struggles will cease. Majority of the problems we have across the globe today are due to the perversion of the truth or the lack of knowledge of the truth. Truth is universal. It operates like other principles. If you know what principle is responsible for the life you desire, you can apply it and It will work for you. Principles have no respect for gender, age, color, race, or geographical locations. For electricity to work for you wherever you are in the world, you need to follow the appropriate principle and procedures before it will generate the light you need. There is no other way around that.

There are several principles taught in the Bible, and these are universal. But our interpretations and application of those principles can hinder us. However, there is one important factor which is the ultimate key to the truth – the knowledge of the truth sets free! Freedom is exactly what is missing in most areas of our lives. Freedom is the confidence to fully live the life God designed for us without any limitations. Until we obtain this freedom, we are incapacitated from becoming exactly who we need to be in life. If we cannot be ourselves and fulfill our mandate, we would live a life without impact.

Life is interesting and fascinating. There are so many exciting, great experiences and moments to share in life. There are many beautiful things to do, to celebrate, and to live for. Yes, there are challenges; but there are also several great opportunities available to live our best life.

It is impossible to face life without the key to unlock it. As a matter of fact, living without the key to unlocking every challenge or knowledge of the truth, will lead to frustration. Check the areas where you are experiencing some frustration and find out what truth you are yet to discover to make life easy. Remember, truth is your key to freedom. It will always set you free.

The writer of Psalm 91 says God’s truth is our shield and buckler. Truth protects and preserves us from chaos. A lot of people are snared and face limitations due to the lack of truth. Across the world, something is wrong with the way people live their lives. Many people are living in deception, hostility, shame, humiliation, and failure because they lack the right key – the key of truth.

The truth is powerful and it is rewarding. The sole custodian of the knowledge of the truth is God. Jesus is the truth. He is the key that unravels all mysteries of life. Everyone who believes and abides in His word will experience true freedom.

Soon we will exit 2018 and start the journey of 2019 which we normally refer to as a New Year. The changes between this year and the next one is the level of truth you will operate with. If your knowledge of the truth remains the same, the results you will see will also remain the same.

For anything to change, there must be the discovery of new truth or the implementation of the old truth that was never applied. The best preparation you can afford for the next year is to acquire knowledge of the truth in all areas of your life. Make a difference by setting the truth in motion. This is the key to life.
