STATEMENT OF FAITH 

The purpose of The Spirit of Truth and Faith Ministries is to declare Jesus Christ as and to give all glory to Him as the only True and Eternal God. Our devotion is that Christ be lifted up and He will draw all people to Himself.

Jesus Christ (The Lord of lords and King of kings)

The Lord Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God. He was born of a virgin, by the seed of the Holy Spirit. He was the Word of God in the beginning. He was with the Father before all things and He is our eternal life. “By Him all things were created, both in heavens and on earth” (Colossians 1:16). He is the Creator. Jesus is the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. Jesus was crucified for the sins of mankind.

We believe in His substitutionary death for all men; and all who believe in Him and His sacrifice have their sins remitted and are restored back to God. We believe in all the attributes of Jesus Christ as written in the scriptures; His resurrection on the third day and His second coming as the King of Kings.

“There is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus” (1 Timothy 2:5). No one can see God except through Jesus and no one can know who Jesus is except through the revelation from God.

Salvation

The savior of man is Christ alone and no other (Act 4:12).  We believe all are born with a sinful nature and that the work of Christ’s atonement at the Cross was to redeem us from the power of sin.

By believing in our hearts that Jesus is the Son of God and confessing Him through our mouths we receive eternal life and are saved (Roman 10). Salvation is for everyone who will accept and confess Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

The Holy Spirit (The Spirit of Truth)

We believe in the existence of the Holy Spirit as the third person of the Trinity (God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit). We believe in the Holy Spirit’s interaction with man as our helper and comforter (John 14:16). We also believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, as manifested by the fruit and the gifts of the Spirit (1 Cor 12:1-11, Gal 5:22-23).

The Bible (Scriptures)

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, and that it is the complete revelation of God’s will for mankind. We believe in the absolute authority of the scriptures to govern the affairs of mankind.

We do not accept any doctrine that contradicts the scriptures.

The Bible is the authentic constitution of God for His government; and the government is upon the shoulder of Jesus (Isaiah 9:6). We only accept spiritual experiences that has their source in the Holy Spirit and in scriptural truth.  The manifestation of the gifts of the Spirit must be in line with the truth of the scriptures.

There is no other book that carries the same authority as the scripture. Therefore we hold the scripture as the highest authority from God to mankind.

Stewardship and Giving

True stewardship is the ability to surrender all to God and serve Him with our whole heart, soul, body and substance. Everyone is the steward of their life and resources; all of which ultimately belong to God, the ultimate Provider.

We stand on and practice the biblical principles of tithing and giving (Gen 8:20-22).

The Church

The Church is important for the gathering of the local assembly of believers for the purpose of spiritual growth, moral support, evangelism, and the sharing of biblical truth to build up the Body of Christ.

The local assembly consists of the gathering of believers to worship and praise the Lord through singing, clapping, and lifting of hands. We believe in the use of musical instruments to worship and praise the Lord.

The Church is the eternal Body of Christ, and Christ is the head of the Church.

Water Baptism

We believe in the ordinance of water baptism by immersion in water in obedience to the Word of God. All those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior should be baptized in water through immersion as a public profession of their faith in Christ (Acts 8).

It is both a personal and public statement of faith in the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Commitment To Israel

We believe in the promise of Genesis 12:3 regarding the Jewish people and the nation of Israel. We support and bless Israel in obedience to the word of the Lord. 

God’s Attributes

We believe in God’s eternal attributes and we build our prophetic understanding in line with some of HIs attributes:

1. God is everlasting and His kingdom and dominion are forever (Psalms 145:13).

2. God will not break His covenant and He cannot change (Malachi 3:6).

3. God cannot lie because He is not a man (Numbers 23:19, Psalm 89:35).

4. God is the truth (Psalm 25:5, Deuteronomy 32:4).

Humans are Tripartite in Nature

We are created in the image and the likeness of God. We have a soul, spirit and body. With our spirit we communicate with God. Our soul is our personality, which contains our attributes and the content of our behavior.
