It can be scary to think that our battle is a continuous one; but the fact is we are not fighting against flesh and blood (human elements). Our battle is against deception and the lies of the enemy presented in a rational way to capture our imagination and hold us captive.  Nevertheless, we have a powerful weapon at our disposal. The arsenal of our warfare comes in handy with our relationship and status in God (2 Corinthians 10:3-5). No military machinery can win the battle; only the power of God’s sovereignty.

So what is our God given arsenal for fighting the adversaries in this raging battle? It is just one thing – His word. So why won’t God just send some angels with mighty swords to scare off the devil? Instead He chose to give us His word. Imagine that! The truth is that the word of God is the most potent force in all creation. The Word of God is God (John 1:1). Nothing is more powerful and effective than the word; since nothing was created without the word. If you have God’s word regarding any situation, it unravels the lies of the devil, and you can walk free from such entanglements.

The essence of the battle is primarily about the word of God. The devil always wants to contest the truth of the word. He goes about misleading and making the people of God believe anything and everything contrary to the will of God. He presents lies and deception that place limitations on the effectiveness of God’s word in our lives. And this is often the root cause of a frustrated life and purpose.

Every area of our lives that is run contrary to the truth of God’s word will become an area where we struggle. And until we acquire and retain knowledge in those areas, our vision will be ineffective, we will continue to bump against obstacles, and this will inevitably lead to frustration. But when we take the word of God and allow it to illuminate our steps, we will no longer continue to run into the wrong kinds of stuff.

What you are really missing is the truth, the light, the word of God. Don’t settle for the conditions set by your circumstances. Explore the promises of God and experience life in the most fantastic way. Finding and unveiling the word of God is revealing the life you were created to live. So find it at all cost.
