My number one companion has been my wife. God has also given me great friends and a great family who care about me. That means I am not pursuing this glorious life all by myself. I am surrounded by great people with great potential and we are together in our molding and preparation stage with the aim of making generational impact.

I have three categories of people in my life and they are a major part of the characteristics of this organization, The Spirit of Truth and Faith Ministries. They are men and women of great integrity, men and women of great caliber, and men and women of great unction. These are seasoned people known as the ICU (Intensive Care Unit) of the organization. They are the heart and soul of the organization, and we are very blessed to be surrounded by their unique abilities and potentials.

The disciples of Jesus were not the attraction of their days when He found them. But they had a great life ahead of them as a result of their purpose and callings. Imagine the thousands out there who are meant to journey through life with you. They might be unknown for now, but are waiting to be revealed to the world. According to the Bible, two are better than one because both will always have a better return for their investments. But whoever is alone would have him or herself to blame. (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10)

When your companions are people of great integrity, great caliber, and great unction, there is very little to worry about because all the necessary areas are covered. This means standards and values are non-negotiable, which in essence speaks volumes about the ‘personality’ of the organization. I see this as God’s favor.

The ideal of people of integrity is soundness, the highest level of moral character and ethical principles. How important do you think it is to have such people around you in a world where there is moral decadence? One of my mentors would say that “good jobs are not scarce but faithful men are”. These are not necessarily religious individuals; but people who possess a genuine heart. With them, what you see is what you get. Because of their value for principles, they won’t hesitate to tell you the truth. They always ensure their conscience is clear regarding how they live their lives in transparency and in true reflection of their beliefs. When people treat you the same way they will treat themselves and handle what belongs to you as though their lives depend on it, that is integrity. Those are the people you want to be surrounded with. Jonathan and David portrayed this rare integrity in their friendship. (1 Samuel 20:42)

The second category I am privileged to be among are people of great caliber. These are competent and highly intelligent people that possess great capabilities and are excellent in spirit. They are genius by reason of their wisdom and therefore pioneer new ideas and birth new innovations. Of course, we all know that this has nothing to do with academics or professional degrees. It has to do with the Spirit of Excellence, the same spirit that Daniel had in Babylon for solving riddles and interpreting hard sentences. This category of people find the solutions to difficult situations that people deem impossible. They are real gems and it is truly a blessing to be among them.

And finally are the people of great unction. These are exemplary people who have precision and accuracy in the things of the Spirit. This makes them very dependable as good companions. They carry themselves with absolute humility and don’t pride themselves in vain things. They are sold out to the agenda of the kingdom. With their humility, they possess a great level of authority in the realm of the spirit that makes them fearless and unapologetic. Another way to describe them is that they are prophetic in nature and have great understanding of the prophetic similitudes. These are ones to truly envy because of their relationship with God and how quiet they are in nature but still very fervent in the spirit. If you tell them you saw an angel they might tell you exactly what the mission of that angel was and the angel’s direction of travel. Yes, they are men and women of great unction.

Now, don’t for a second think these are special people. They only seem special because they found their voices. And that can be you as well. We should know that we can only attract who we are. So if you have integrity, caliber, and unction, then those are the kind of people you will attract. If you seek these kinds of people as your companion, you must first become one and then strive to associate with them wherever they can be found. You may need to pay the price to discover these human jewels because they are heavenly treasures as well.

Whatever it takes, please don’t climb alone. Whatever it takes to find your companions, be sure to find them. Even demons operate together in many instances, so why would you want to be by yourself? There are too many amazing people all around you. You may not know them yet, but they are genuine and available to work with as you journey towards the realization of your dream.  It is lonely at the top, so find and connect with your companions.
