Prayers for Jerusalem
We ask all believers to pray for Jerusalem. Psalm 122:1-9 God declares that we pray for the peace of Jerusalem; and those who do will prosper.
We also pray for the protection of the Jewish nation against all enemies. We pray that God will protect and continue to preserve His inheritance.
We ask God to bless the natural seed of Abraham, as we the spiritual seed are enjoying the work of salvation, that they will receive the Lord Jesus as the savior and Lord of their lives.
Prayers for the Nations
1 Timothy 2:1-4 reads:
“Therefore, I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.”
We pray for God’s wisdom and protection over the president and all those in the position of authority.
Whatever decisions they make will impact the citizens; whether good or bad. So, we ask God to always intervene in their thought process and lead them in the right direction.
Our prayer is that all will yield to the will of God; and those who are opposed to the gospel of truth will receive the mercy of God and be saved.
We ask that Jesus the Prince of Peace will abide in our nation, and all will live a peaceful life.
Prayers for the Body of Christ
Ephesian 4:11-13 reads:
“And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.”
We believe Jesus is the head of the Church and He will not return until we all come to the unity of faith, and each believer understands their part as a member of the body.
We pray that the Spirit of God will guide the church to the right place and prepare her for the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We ask God for the outpouring of His Holy Spirit upon all flesh; and for the fulfillment of all the scriptural prophecies for the church.
Our Lord Jesus Christ will revive His church and we shall experience a great awakening and the harvest of the last days.
