The Deficit of Wisdom – Part II

What is a deficit? Deficit means to lack; it is a deficiency in amount or quality. The lack of wisdom necessary to sustain the activities of humans will ruin lives.

Whenever we hear about lack, the next thing is to understand the effect. In the absence of wisdom, something else is increasing; and that is foolishness. So the ignorance of people will increase despite the availability of resources and access to knowledge.

The access to and proliferation of information are not equal to wisdom.  The majority will show their lack of judgment and discretion, especially in values and decisions. Foolishness in the heart of people will make them ignore God (Psalm 14:1). Many will deny God and continue in their perverse ways; following paths that lead to destruction.

Where do you stand in this situation? Are you equipped with the wisdom necessary to navigate your path? Will you allow foolishness to drown you? Do you know how to access wisdom to sustain and create ways in darkness?  You cannot play a guessing game. It is either you know and have what it takes, or you do not.

We all need wisdom in life. I would encourage you to conduct a personal assessment to find out if you are in deficit. The way to know is to check if you have prioritized wisdom or something else as your focus. Wisdom must be number one on your Scale of Preference; which I will discuss in future teaching. Until you put wisdom first, you will be in a deficit.
